Kaitlyn Rose: Somatic Alchemy & Healing Trauma

Kaitlyn Rose Holsapple believes that the body is our most sacred guide. Her work now is focused on helping others integrate their past pains so these hidden shadows no longer subconsciously drive the choices in life. As a Somatic Yoga Therapist, she helps clients connect with the innate, intuitive wisdom of the body. This wisdom is present in “every” body, and helps up to organically move stages of healing.

Our guest today, Kaitlyn, is someone who recovered from PTSD as a result of being victimized by sexual assault. Prior to this she had always felt disassociated from her body, due to experiencing sexual abuse as a young child, which surfaced through her healing journey through yoga and somatic therapy. The steps she took on her own healing journey has informed her understanding that the path of personal integration can often feel confusing and dark. As a teacher of somatic yoga therapy, she knows intimately how we need experienced guides to help us shine light onto the painful shadow side of ourselves and many of those experiences we would rather not look at.

We’re talking about sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, plant medicines, trauma, healing, and what it takes to become whole.
