Dear Ashtanga Community,
I’m supporting the Ashtanga yoga community in the Ukraine, who at this time are in desperate need of your help.
On the 24th of February 2022 Russian Federation not only brutally invaded their country. It started genocide of the whole Ukrainian nation.
Breaking all the laws of the civilised world and humanity, the Russian army bombards their hospitals, maternity units, schools, residential and historical buildings.
One week of war has already taken <2000 lives of the peaceful population. Among them 16 children… and the battle continues to rage on.
Ukraine is a small country in comparison with Russia. But they are brave and courageous when it comes to defending their livelihood and values.
Ukraine has acted as a shield between Russian and the democratic world. And they are planning to fight till the last drop of blood is shed for freedom and universal peace.
This is what their history is inspiring them to do, and it is what yoga is teaching us.
Every word of support, every dollar/pound/euro helps them to stay strong.
Please support this cause to help us defend the freedom of Ukraine and bring the peace back in this region of the world.
