Friday Workshop 1: The Subtle Energy Body & Yoga Philosophy

Discover Your Invisible Anatomy. In this workshop we will explain and explore the subtle energy body - an intricate system that governs your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Deepen your experience of breath and bandhas and how it all relates to your physical body and your yoga practice.

Saturday Workshop 2: Unlock your Hips with the Magic of Bandhas

Open hips makes many asanas more accessible. This session will explore several different ways of opening the hips throughout the practice, and introduce different techniques to enhance ‘hip-opening’ outside of the practice - whilst protecting the knees. Students will come to understand more fully how to get into this area to help advance their personal practice

Saturday Workshop 3: Moving Beyond the Body

Using Spinal Energetics and Breathwork, this workshop will help students cultivate deeper awareness within themselves, release unconscious blocks, and experience the tremendous energy that can transform held patterns within the body to bring both healing and awakening.

Sunday Workshop 4: The Secrets of Yoga - The Marriage of Shiva-Shakti

Discover how the metaphorical language used in India is actually describing a very real awakening process within our mind-body. Learn about how the goddess power and union of opposites brings about the experience of Yoga. This class will include an introduction to Pranayama and Meditation practices.

Friday Evening:
6:00pm – 8:00pm – Workshop: Strengthening the Spine and Cleansing the Nervous System
Nadi Shodhana is the name given to the Second Series of the Ashtanga Yoga system. However, it is also the name of a beginner Pranayama exercise. In this workshop students will explore the connection of prana (vital life energy) with the cleansing and strengthening of the nervous system through gentle asanas, kriyas and pranayama. These practices will be highly beneficial and accessible to everyone, regardless of your level of experience.

Saturday: 

10am-12pm – Exploring the Subtle Energy Body
Discover Your Invisible Anatomy. In this workshop we will explain and explore the subtle energy body - an intricate system that governs your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Deepen your experience of breath and bandhas and how it all relates to your physical body, higher consciousness, your Life-Force, and your yoga practice.

1pm – 3pm – Breathwork & Spinal Energetics
In this immersive session, you'll journey through various dimensions of breathwork, culminating in the powerful experience of tapping into your subtle energy bodies and experiencing them firsthand. Using vibration and the movement of energy in the body, you’ll discover the energetic currents along your spine, potentially leading to profound physical, emotional, and spiritual insights.

Sunday:  

10am – 12pm – Moving Beyond Asana – An introduction to Ayurveda + Kriyas + Pranayama
Ultimately the goal of Ashtanga Yoga is to prepare oneself for the deeper more esoteric practices that integrate the heart and mind. The Yogic Texts clearly lay out the path of moving our attention inward, starting with preparing the body and mind to become more attentive to the movement of subtle energy through specific breathing exercises called “pranayama.” Learn the 6 foundational pranayama practices and leave this workshop confident that you have your own practice that is right for your life-circumstances and personal constitution.
