After 20+ years in any business or doing any practice, it’s easy to become cynical…

But try taking the cynical view with our guest today, Amy Priya Santos. Ha! She’s having none of it.

Listen and see how yoga is working. Simply put, Amy is a very nice person. She’s full of love and grace and encouragement. She’s full of music, dance, and being in a flow state. She embodies, in her self effacing way, Mystic moments of consciousness— a fully immersive state with no attachments to any sense of separate self or identity.

Amy talks us through her childhood as an immigrant to this country from the Philippines to upstate NY, becoming found (or possibly losing herself) in the state of flow through her early years of dance. Becoming a yoga student in NY in the 90’s and then taking up music and forming a band. She became a follower and a devotee of Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma), “the Hugging Saint.” There couldn’t be a better metaphor for how nice Amy Priya is… We’re sure you’ll feel her energetic hug over the airwaves.

We believe you will enjoy, laugh, and feel all the sunshine love she radiates. Time with Amy will remind you of how easy enjoying life can be.

Don’t get us wrong, life is extremely hard, often brutal, and alienating. But, enjoying this thing called life can also come with an easy, peaceful feeling, as you’ll soon see.
