*Hey Team, Russell here.

Harmony asked me to edit this copy regarding menstruation and make sure it checks out with everything I know about women’s cycles… LOL.

Honestly, this was a fabulous conversation!

Just for me personally, when Briana started talking about alignment of activity to hormanal cycle I was pretty intrigued. She said “yeah, for men they tend to exercise in the morning when their testosterone is highest, and its good for them to take meetings at noon when their estrogen is higher and they feel more like talking to other people. Then in the evening their cortisol is lowest and they like to deeply relax and be more of an observer. “

It was like she was describing my whole life!

So I can only say… This is the real deal. Do yourself a solid and have a listen!

Harmony says its legit, so don’t just take just my word for it. Love to you all, out. r

Do you want to experience the next level of freedom? Then learn to merge your analytical brain with your intuition in a systematic way through syncing your life with your menstrual cycle. Learn to predict your energy so you can reliably know when it’s a “hell yes” or a “hell no!”

Menstruation is a topic we seem to talk a lot about as Ashtanga yoga practitioners. Our personal “moon days” as women, whether to take rest, or practice, whether this is a misogynistic tradition or something truly helpful, is a long debated subject.

But did you know that lifestyle, exercise, and productivity research is almost entirely based on what is optimal for male bodies.

And you know what?

The Yoga tradition is no different!

In today’s episode we’re talking with Cycle-Syncing coach, Briana Villegas. We’re learning what benefits we might discover (as women), when we start to align our to-do list with our biologically driven energy shifts, so we can spend more time being in flow-state, rather than feeling trapped in hustle-culture.

But this conversation isn’t only for women… You see, men will learn a lot too about their own hormonal cycling that happens over a 24 hour period and how to utilize the natural ups and downs of their energy each day.

Social awareness around menstrual health is on the rise, but it’s not enough for the conversation to stop at normalizing symptoms. We have to learn to listen deeper to our innate wisdom.

Briana Villegas has combine her background as a behavioral scientist and her personal experience with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), to create a powerful cycle-syncing formula.

We’re so excited to share her wisdom and experience with you in this episode!
