There's no better way to start off this month's #AhimsaChallenge then with COFFEE!
Last September I gave up drinking coffee every day. I actually went for almost 3 months without a cup! More recently, I started giving myself a little treat now and again, mostly on the weekends, when I can take my time, relax, and really savor the delicious dark nectar. So this is a vegan-friendly, low-carb (Keto approved) recipe to help kick-start your morning routine!
But you might be wondering... What’s the deal with Bulletproof Coffee anyway?
The original Bulletproof Coffee was meant to be used as a replacement for breakfast to help prolong fasting time by postponing your first meal of the day until much later in the morning.
*Pro Tip: If you are trying the Vegan-Ketogenic diet, you will most likely want to include some Intermittent Fasting as well... And this easy breakfast recipe can be a great way to kick-start your day without “breaking the fast”!
