💜 Beyond the Physical: Exploring the Energetic Body Through Spinal Energetics

In the practice of yoga, we often start with the physical—the asana, the poses, the way the body moves and stretches. This tangible entry point is accessible, familiar, and easy to see. But yoga has always been about more than what’s visible on the outside. Beneath the physical practice lies a deeper layer of connection, one that moves beyond muscle and bone into the realm of energy and consciousness.

When we think about the spine, we often picture it as the central structure holding us upright, enabling movement, and protecting the nervous system. What I find most exciting about Spinal Energetics is how it complements traditional yoga. It’s a way to deepen our practice by engaging with the energetic body directly, accessing parts of ourselves that the physical practice may not always reach.

For me, this integration has been life-changing. It’s one thing to stand on a mat and feel the stretch of a forward fold or the strength of a warrior pose. It’s another to feel the subtle vibration of energy moving through the spine, to experience a moment where the boundaries of the physical body dissolve into something greater. SpinalEenergetics has taught me that these moments are not the exception—they’re available to all of us, whenever we take the time to tune in.
